January - 2012
On Sunday, January 1, 2012, New Year's Day, there the worship service will begin
at 9:00 a.m. There will be no Sunday school this morning. The normal
Sunday school hour of 9:00 a.m. and the worship service time of 10:30
a.m. will resume on Sunday, January 8th.
The church office will be closed on Monday, January 2, 2012 in observance of the New Year's holiday.
The monthly All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast will be held in the social hall from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. For more information, please call the church office at 393-3431.
The Annual Meeting of the congregation is scheduled for Sunday, January 29, 2012, immediately following the morning worship service. The new members of the Consistory will be elected and the budget for 2012 will be presented for the congregations approval. Please plan to attend this important meeting.
February
On Sunday, February 5th, we will hold our next Combined Worship service at St. Peter's U.C.C. The service will begin at 10:45 a.m. For directions or more information about this service, please call the church office.
The monthly All-You-Can-Eat- Breakfast for the month of February will be held on Saturday, February 11th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 a.m.
The 3rd Annual Schrieber Benefit Concert is scheduled for Saturday evening, February 25th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. There is no admisson charge for this event, however, donations will be accepted at the door and all proceeds benefit the Schrieber Pediatric Center. This event has grown more and more popular each year, so please, make a note of the date in your personal calendar book, you do not want to miss this fabulous night of music! Featured performers include: "Break from Blue Collar," a barbershop quartet, Katie Eshelman, guitarist and vocalist, "Back 2 Life," an outstanding musical trio from the Philadelphia area, "The McCoy Boys," a local barbershop quintet, and "Odd Man Out," a local musical group. Anyone who attended the last two concerts will tell you that this is a wonderful opportunity to come out and be entertained by some really terrific talent and help a marvelous organization carry on its work with children who have special needs. Mark the date - February 25, 2012, 6:30 p.m. (Snow Date is March 3, 2012, if needed).
